We all went swimming as a family this morning for the first time since starting their swimming lessons with you and even though they have only been attending your classes for just over a term, the difference in their confidence was absolutely incredible! Hannah seems to have made amazing progress and was almost swimming on her own and Ben, who used to be scared to have water on his face, was happily throwing himself down the water slides and diving down to collect his seal!…

Thank you for encouraging me to persevere with the preschool lessons with Tom, it was daunting at first watching him cry and I honestly felt it may have been wrong to continue but having taken your advice to remain positive and not talk about the lessons before each one I can now see what a difference a few more weeks have made. Thanks for the reassurance that the tears are normal as now that he knows he is going to come he is much more relaxed and happier so much so we are now teaching his bath toys to swim which is very wet and splashy but so great to see his confidence grow. The other parents were most supportive and it was good to know I wasn’t the only one to go through this.

Firstly a huge thank you to you and Anna for teaching Charlotte to swim so well this past year. She had a visit to her primary school today followed by a swim in the pool and I couldn't believe how confident she was compared to her peers and how well she was doing - she was somewhat showing off what she could do and all your techniques and strokes were demonstrated.... I was impressed ;-)

The intensive courses that Hannah and Ben attended at the beginning of the Summer holiday were a great success again, so a big 'thank you' for that. Hannah is now at the stage where she is pretty much swimming on her own. Whilst she wouldn't last very long in deep water (and her 'technique' still leaves a lot to be desired!), the main thing is that her confidence has gone through the roof and she is so proud that she can now almost swim. Last term, we were told by the swimming teacher at Hannah's school that at the age of four and five, children are too young to learn the correct technique, as they aren't strong enough nor do they have sufficient memory capacity. As a result, her school swimming lessons are all about playing games to develop confidence in the water. Whilst I accept that confidence is a key issue, I have to say that your classes have worked wonders in that they have allowed Hannah not only to become confident in the water, but also to rapidly work her way towards becoming a competent swimmer. Ben has also come on in leaps and bounds. He now doesn't mind jumping in and completely submerging. Whilst on holiday, he was happy to float around in the pool wearing arm bands, but without being held all of the time. He often also asks for his goggles in the bath so that he can practice blowing bubbles under the water and 'teach' his toys 'like Laura does'! They both also had a great time swimming in the sea. What you do in your classes seems to work wonders and neither Hannah nor Ben can wait to start their lessons again.

Thank you for giving my children such a brilliant start with their swimming. They love it

We love our Friday swimming. Many thanks once again for doing such great swimming lessons.

Thank you so much for the intensive lessons that my two attended. They have really had a huge impact to them both.

Firstly I would like to thank you for the Intensive Swimming Course - the children really enjoyed it.

I just wanted to write to say thank you for the lessons. It was quite amazing watching their confidence and swimming ability grow before my eyes. We swam a couple of times during the two weeks and both boys were doing things that they had been too timid to try before - just hope we have some more good weather so I can keep their swimming up.

I wanted to let you know that we did some swimming over the summer and I am so pleased with Elizabeth's confidence in the water - not much swimming yet but she is very comfortable in the water, I can see that she is aware of being in deeper water and competent enough to be safe although obviously not on her own yet. This is exactly what I wanted for her particularly as my dad was not a strong swimmer and I remember him getting into difficulty once - not a pleasant experience.

Thanks very much for your help last week, it was great and I'm really pleased with how the lessons are going - so a bit gutted to miss one!…

Barney really enjoyed his first lesson today.

Just wanted to say as well that Benjamin is swimming in the top of the top group at his school ( in his year ) at Waverley Abbey thanks to you ! Thanks Yvette

They loved it, thanks. All fears now allayed and they're raring to go. Many thanks to the kindness of the instructors - please pass on.

Firstly can I say how pleased we are with the swimming classes my boys attend. You met me today with little Andrew and I have James who is 2 and a half and comes on a Tuesday. They are both loving it. Anna is just a delight.…

Max attended a swimming gala at his school last month. He did really well overall but came 1st in a holding his breath under water, 1st in the star fish race and 2nd in front crawl. Overall he came 2nd in the whole competition for Year 2. Many people were impressed on his style of swimming which was by far the best in the competition and kept commenting. He was the only one who could swim with his face in the water too. We were incredibly proud of him. I know he has a long way to go, but he is a credit to you and your school.
